meaningful connections within the communities where we live
and work. Centex has benefited from the resources in and around
the communities we help to build. In return, we have committed
millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to support
a charitable giving program that incorporates land, home and
people.

Conservation. Since
1999, Centex has committed more than $5 million to land
and water conservation efforts and helped save more
than 25,000 acres of critical habitat. The Centex Land
Legacy Fund provides approximately $1 million annually
to preserve America’s “great places.” |

Affordable
Housing. Centex contributes
about $1 million annually to Habitat for Humanity in cash,
building materials, construction management support and
skilled labor from many of our employees.
Responsible
Construction. Centex
is at the forefront of designing homes that are both stylishly
functional and energy efficient through the application
of responsible construction practices and materials that
promote efficiency.
